Job summary

TP Mechanical is seeking a skilled pipefitter to interpret blueprints and assemble piping systems in our Cincinnati fabrication shop. You will measure, lay out, fit, and position piping, coordinating with welders to ensure proper alignment and secure welds.

The role requires 2+ years of pipefitting experience, ability to read isometrics, and familiarity with carbon and stainless steel piping. OSHA 10 certification is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Ohio.

• Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and organizing shop inventory.
• Maintain safe and clean working conditions in accordance with company policies.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Fabrication Shop Foreman or Supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• 2+ years of pipefitting experience in fabrication or construction (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of various piping materials (carbon steel, stainless steel).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a shop environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass MIG positioner rollout certification on 2" sch80 weld test.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/vocational training preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Eyesight correctable to 20/50.
• Able to work long hours on feet.
• Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Able to perform shift work.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 60lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must not be afraid of heights.

Special Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 certified.
