Staging + Design Associate
Position Summary
The Staging + Design Associate is responsible for assisting Moyer Move Management and Moyer Staging + Design sales team with staging, de‑staging, floor plan creation, space planning, and design. Energetic professional who does not mind the flexible needs of a small, growing business. Experience in managing various software packages and/or the ability to quickly adopt new software design tools is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and/or learn how to use all the required functionality of the Moyer adopted design software.
- Convert paper or other digital renderings of client floor plans into a viable base for floor plan design.
- Convert furniture measurements into digital renderings.
- When requested, create space plan designs.
- When requested and approved, go to the location and measure all necessary aspects of the unit to create a master template.
- Create “output” for sales rep action and/or client review.
- Adjust iterations from sales rep/client feedback.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
- Collaborate with the design team to execute staging plans for residential and commercial properties.
- Select and arrange furniture, décor, and accessories to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of staging installations.
- Help maintain the inventory of staging items and ensure their proper care.
- Work with clients and the team to meet staging deadlines.
- Stay updated on design trends and apply them to projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in staging or interior decorating is preferred, but not required; marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in home staging, interior decorating, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of design principles, furniture arrangement, and color coordination.
- Ability to lift and move staging materials as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for travel between staging locations.
- Proven ability to use/adopt design software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office utilities.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages.
- Our company heavily relies on technology for the distribution, storage, and management of our day‑to‑day operations. Must have a “SMART” personal phone that can handle at minimum Microsoft Office 365 suite of services, including email if requested.
Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly
