Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Detroit is seeking a part-time Stagehand to support load-in and load-out of band and rental equipment. You will secure passes, prepare guest lists, and assist the stage management team with cabling, audio and lighting tasks, and band set changes.

You will help hang banners, update marquees, coordinate backstage needs, and maintain stage areas in a safe, clean condition. The role requires physical fitness, reliability, and the ability to work in a loud venue.

Qualifications

• Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load-in/out of band equipment and rental gear.
• Secure passes and guest lists under the direction of the stage manager.
• Cable and assist audio & lighting crew as directed.
• Band set changes and ensure performers have needed items.
• Communicate event details to production crew and hang banners/signage.
• Coordinate food trays for the band and assist with special events.
• Maintain and care for stage areas in a safe, clean manner.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and backline security.
