Job summary

Legends Global Stockton Complex is looking for a Stagehand to support all technical aspects of our live events. You will set up and operate audio, lighting, video and rigging systems, and ensure that technical riders are met for each show.

This position requires physical mobility, the ability to lift equipment, and availability for nights, weekends and holidays. You will work with the Production team to deliver safe, high‑quality productions in a fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and 2 years experience in the field.
  • Experience with setup and operation of equipment such as audio consoles, lighting consoles, video switchers, and personnel lifts.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to move and lift gear in a live event environment and work under pressure.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Stagehand at Legends Global Stockton Complex. The Stagehand is responsible for the setup and operation of equipment and systems utilized for all technical aspects of our facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operates specialized in audio, lighting, video and rigging equipment
  • Uses specialized programs and equipment in live productions
  • Setup and Strike of Events
  • Implements and ensures that all requirements listed in Technical Riders are met for each event
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Production Coordinator
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrate proper knowledge and use of all procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment and tools used in the technical services field
  • Possess knowledge and experience in operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services and technical support requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility
  • Meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noises
  • Experience with setup and operation of equipment such as audio consoles, lighting consoles, video switchers, and personnel lifts
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment
  • High School Diploma and 2 years’ experience in the field
Computer Skills

Computer skills are not required.

Other Qualifications

Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $21.10
