Stage Production & Facilities Specialist

Job Summary: Responsible for all on-site productions for the School of Music, Cleveland State University (CSU), and external group use. Conducts all technical and computerized aspects of School of Music events, such as concerts, recitals, faculty and guest performances, and lectures. Ensures facilities and technical equipment inventory are maintained, secure, and comply with safety standards. Prepares budget requests for maintenance, repairs, and purchases. Trains and supervises student staff. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree preferably in arts management, music, business administration, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of experience in theater and/or public event staging procedures, techniques, including using current industry standard digital technologies.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
