Stonehill College's Theatre Department seeks dependable student Production Assistants to support productions and events. You will work with faculty and student teams on behind‑the‑scenes tasks in a college theatre setting.

Ideal for students in theatre, design, art, construction, or performing arts seeking hands-on experience. Prior theatre experience is helpful but not required, and Federal Work‑Study eligibility is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Federal Work‑Study.
• No prior theatre experience required.
• Good teamwork and reliability.
• Interest in theatre and production is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set construction: build, assemble, install, and strike scenic elements.
• Assist with scenic painting and finishing pieces.
• Build, organize, maintain, and store props.
• Organize, label, maintain, and store costumes and accessories.
• Move and organize scenery, furniture, props, and other production materials.
• Prepare rehearsal and performance spaces.
• Assist with load-in and strike for Theatre Department productions.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized shop, storage, and production areas.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student teams on special projects.
• Perform other theatre production duties as assigned.
