Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior stage management experience in professional or educational setting required.
• Students currently pursuing degrees in stage management or related field strongly considered
• Professional experience and/or advanced degree in stage management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Arts Department Producer and Director to stage manage the Upper-School musical (Nov 4, 2026–Mar 20, 2027).
• Take full responsibility for the stage management of the upper-school musical.
• Attend production meetings with the director, Arts Department Producer, and design staff.
• Train and supervise student assistant stage managers as needed.
• Ensure safe, inclusive and professional educational and working environments.
• Maintain order and timeliness during rehearsals and performances.
• Create, manage and maintain the production script with blocking and cues.
• Record rehearsal notes, line notes, cues, and blocking.
• Disseminate production schedules and reports to cast, director, Arts Department Producer, and staff.
• Oversee care of stage, rehearsal space, props, costumes and set pieces.
• Issue calls to actors and run crew and call all cues during performances.
• Maintain continuity of performances.
