Job summary

Sight and Sound is seeking a Stage Manager to provide leadership, communication, and support across departments during rehearsals and daily show operations. You will collaborate to uphold the show’s artistic and technical vision and ensure safety and integrity throughout the run.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and at least 2 years of theatre experience, with strong communication and calm under pressure. Leadership and teamwork are essential, as is willingness to lead by example.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years theatre experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate rehearsals, show run, and events ensuring a professional and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with Show Operations Leadership to maintain technical and artistic vision of the show.
• Support planning, training and preparation for upcoming shows.
• Fulfill all duties of a stage manager, including scheduling, calling the show, and backstage tasks.
• Attend required leadership meetings as directed by your supervisor.
