The Lilly Theater Stage Management Intern at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will work closely with the production directors and stage manager during rehearsals for the Lilly Theater’s spring production. Once the show opens, the intern will work with the full Lilly Theater team to maintain the production and help run the house during shows.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include taking notes during rehearsals, assisting with tech and sound during rehearsals, setting and resetting the stage,

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of college coursework completed.
• Preferred major: Theater Stage Management.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work closely as part of a team.
• Experience running shows and calling cues preferred.
• Previous experience in Theater Stage Management preferred.
• Part-time position, roughly 15 hours per week.
• Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the stage manager by taking notes during rehearsals.
• Assist with running tech and sound during rehearsals.
• Assist with setting and resetting the stage for rehearsal.
• Help maintain the production and run the house during shows once the production opens.
