Job summary

ASM Global in Shreveport is seeking a Changeover Staff member to assist the Operations Supervisor with setup and tear down for numerous events at the Shreveport Convention Center and Municipal Auditorium.

This part-time position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with duties including moving and arranging equipment, cleaning, and basic maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in adverse conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Moving, arranging, setting and removal of items needed for events.
• Set-up and tear-down of stages, tables, chairs, barricades, linens, and equipment
• Assembly and disassembly of animal penning.
• Cleaning and upkeep of buildings including buffing; dusting; sweeping; mopping; vacuuming; washing windows; cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, arena seats, and trash cans.
• Clean-up during and after events.
