Job summary

The Arc Erie County NY is seeking a Staffing Specialist (Recruiter) to join our nonprofit team. This full-time role focuses on finding, screening, and hiring qualified staff for assigned departments, creating job descriptions, posting advertisements, sourcing candidates from multiple channels, and conducting interviews.

You will screen applicants, coordinate the interview process, and share knowledge of current hiring trends within the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree PLUS 3 years of HR experience with one year in recruitment/interviewing.
• Associate’s Degree PLUS 4 years of HR experience with one year interviewing.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience PLUS two years interviewing experience.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License.

• Using a variety of methods to find candidates, including job boards, internal databases, and professional networks.

Staffing Specialist (Recruiter)

Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

$21.00-$24.00 per hour (based on experience)

The Arc Erie County NY is a leading not for profit local agency helping people with developmental disabilities. Our Staffing Specialist position plays a key role in finding, screening, and hiring qualified staff for assigned agency departments. Other duties include creating job descriptions, posting advertisements, sourcing candidates from various channels and conducting interviews.
