Position Overview

United Health Services is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Staffing Specialist to support nursing operations across Wilson Medical Center and Binghamton General Hospital. This role coordinates daily staffing to ensure coverage aligns with patient needs, maintains accurate schedules in staffing systems, and communicates real-time updates to nursing leadership. The Staffing Specialist also supports census management, assists with patient flow and transfers, and prepares staffing summaries to guide operational decisions.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable with technology and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities include responding to call-offs and staffing gaps, performing administrative support tasks, and delivering excellent customer service while collaborating with clinical teams. Previous inpatient healthcare experience is preferred.

$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience
