Aston Carter in Seattle, WA seeks a Recruiter I to partner with North America Customer Fulfillment. You will manage high-volume recruiting for large warehouse sites, handling the earliest stages of the delivery network with a focus on operational excellence and strong stakeholder partnership.

This contract role requires exceptional organization, experience with ATS, and the ability to coordinate offers, transfers, and rapid hiring cycles across multiple locations.

Qualifications

  • 13 years of experience in recruiting operations, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting environments, preferably supporting multiple locations or business units.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage offers, track acceptance, and handle internal transfers.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple roles, requisitions, and priorities.
  • Fast-paced environment experience with high hiring volumes.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with site leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear and direct written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive approach to identifying hiring needs and preventing last-minute volume spikes.
  • Resilience and adaptability when managing complex, high-volume recruiting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a Recruiter Business Partner with a strong customer-facing and internal hiring focus.
  • Manage end-to-end recruiting operations for approximately 2025 warehouse sites, each with multiple roles and hiring needs.
  • Oversee the first section of the delivery pipeline by supporting large warehouses where inventory is stored and prepared for movement to distribution centers.
  • Handle high-volume hiring cycles, including sudden spikes in headcount needs when sites delay requisitions until they become urgent.
  • Process offers accurately and in a timely manner, including creating, updating, and tracking offer statuses.
  • Track candidate offer acceptance and maintain accurate records in applicant tracking systems and related tools.
  • Manage internal transfers and support internal mobility processes in alignment with business needs.
  • Monitor and manage multiple Slack channels for each assigned site to share updates on offers, interviews, and hiring progress.
  • Conduct proactive check-ins with site leaders to anticipate hiring needs and reduce the risk of unexpected volume surges.
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with site leaders by being direct, professional, and responsive.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including recruiting coordinators and hiring teams, to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Maintain strong organizational systems to manage multiple requisitions, roles, and priorities across different locations.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting operations and processes within the customer fulfillment network.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a Recruiting Coordinator (RC) or in a similar coordination-focused role is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in recruiting operations within warehousing, logistics, or fulfillment environments is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Slack or similar collaboration tools for managing communications across multiple teams and channels.
  • Experience supporting internal mobility or internal transfer processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and process discipline in tracking candidates and offers.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal offer negotiation, focusing on operational and administrative excellence.
Work Environment

The role supports large North America Customer Fulfillment warehouses that operate at high volume and complexity. You will manage recruiting activities for 2025 sites, each with its own roles, priorities, and communication channels. The environment is fast-paced and highly dynamic, with periods of intense hiring activity when sites release urgent headcount needs. You will work extensively with applicant tracking systems and digital collaboration tools, including Slack, to coordinate offers, interviews, and updates with site leaders and internal teams. The position emphasizes professional, direct communication and strong organizational practices to keep multiple requisitions and stakeholders aligned. Work hours may require flexibility to support different sites and time zones, and the role is heavily focused on desk-based, technology-driven recruiting operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
