Job summary

MAU Workforce Solutions in Douglasville, GA is seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our team in an entry-level, in-office role focused on day-to-day staffing processes for our clients and workforce.

You will source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates for client assignments; conduct new hire orientations; maintain candidate pipelines for rapid response; and assist with employee coaching, performance discussions, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Are you organized, personable, and energized by helping people find work while supporting client needs? We're seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our team.

This is an entry-level staffing and workforce management position, ideal for professionals with experience in staffing, customer service, account management, HR administration, office administration, or other client-facing support roles. While recruiting is part of the role, this position is focused on managing the day-to-day staffing process for our clients and workforce, rather than corporate or full-cycle recruiting.

What You'll Do

As a Staffing Specialist, you'll serve as a key point of contact for both clients and associates, helping ensure workforce needs are met efficiently and professionally.

  • Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates for client assignments
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure associates understand workplace expectations and safety requirements
  • Maintain candidate pipelines to support rapid response to customer staffing needs
  • Assist with employee coaching, counseling, performance discussions, and disciplinary processes when needed
  • Administer company policies and procedures
Client Support & Relationship Management
  • Receive and manage staffing requests from customers
  • Regularly communicate with client contacts to understand workforce needs and expectations
  • Conduct client visits to maintain strong partnerships and ensure service excellence
  • Support the creation and delivery of client-specific onboarding and orientation materials
  • Help ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and employment regulations
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Maintain accurate employee and client records
  • Process pay rate changes, incentive increases, and other workforce updates
  • Submit required billing documentation and assist with invoice-related inquiries
  • Administer client-required assessments and screenings
  • Support workers' compensation and unemployment-related processes when necessary
  • Assist with incident investigations and documentation
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of professional work experience in one or more of the following:
  • Staffing or temporary employment services
  • Account management
  • Office administration
  • HR administration
  • Workforce coordination or similar support roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service mindset and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous staffing industry experience

This position operates primarily in a professional office setting with regular interaction at client locations. Client sites may include manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 5 – 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day
  • Ability to sit for up to 4 hours

Limited travel may be required.
