Job summary

The Moments in Lakeville is seeking a part-time Scheduler to plan and maintain 24-hour staffing for the nursing department, aligned with budgetary requirements and daily operations. This role emphasizes accurate shift coverage and smooth handoffs in a growing senior care campus.

Candidates must have 24-hour nursing scheduling experience and an active CNA certification. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing, participate in onboarding, and use scheduling software to ensure payroll

• Utilize software platforms to ensure scheduling efficiency and payroll hours accuracy.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify scheduling and staffing improvements.
• Provide clerical support to the nursing department.

Job Description

The Scheduler is responsible to prepare schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels in the nursing department on a 24-hour basis according to administrative requirements. Experience in scheduling 24-hour nursing care is a must for this position.

We have a fitness room for staff, includes cardio and weights and is a great comfortable size. Additionally, we have a massage therapy room where we will be bringing in massage therapists for employee appreciation days.

Position Specifications:

• Assure The Moments schedule is staffed according to budget for each health services care shift.
• Fill call-offs and vacation openings. Work with Director of Nursing to coordinate out source staff as needed.
• Work with partner scheduler to ensure continuity
• Screen new candidates for on-boarding.
• Coordinate final interviews with Director of Nursing or Community Manager.
• Participate in on-boarding orientation of new employees.
• Utilize software programming platforms to assure scheduling efficiency and payroll hours accuracy.
• Work closely with leadership team to identify and communicate opportunities for scheduling & staffing improvement.
• Provide clerical support to nursing department.

Other Requirements:

• Must completecriminal background checkfrom Department of Human Services
• Must have active CNA certification
• Must be screened for TB.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, act as a service model ambassador in building an outstanding care team at The Moments for individuals diagnosed with a form of Dementia.
