Allina Health is seeking a Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator in Richfield, MN. This 1.0 FTE, 8-hour day shift supports staffing across departments, with no weekend work.

Provides staffing resources across all designated departments and locations utilizing staffing technology. Coordinates staff assignments to support patient care needs and provide scheduling support in accordance with staffing and scheduling guidelines.
Allocates, anticipates, and forecasts daily staffing needs.
Requests daily agency staff as needed and reports staffing status to appropriate site and department leaders.
Communicates staffing changes, openings and scheduling adjustments through an electronic staffing system.
Documents staff assignments and codes schedules in an electronic staffing system to ensure timecard accuracy.
Provides training and feedback on staffing and scheduling functions, including timecards, schedules, pay codes, time off requests and call-in procedures in the electronic staffing system.
Utilizes and adheres to bargaining unit contract staffing guidelines as required.
Collects and reports staffing data to identify trends.
Participates in staff huddles and department meetings.
Elevates questions and concerns to site, regional and division leaders as appropriate.
Orients new staff on staffing and scheduling functions and expectations.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
2+ years of customer relations/services skills
Strong computer skills with experience in word processing and spreadsheets
High school diploma or GED
1 year of electronic staffing system scheduling experience
Sedentary: Lifting weight up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
Pay Range: $23.22 to $31.83 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
