Job summary

UMC - Abundant Life for Seniors in New Jersey invites per diem RNs to care for older adults across Northern New Jersey. You choose shifts that fit your life, with a base rate of $50/hour plus $1 for evenings and $2 for nights.

As a per diem RN, you’ll provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications, and document care plans. Required NJ RN license, flu vaccine, and about 1 year of long-term care experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New Jersey RN license.
• Flu vaccine (medical and religious exemptions considered).
• 1 year of nursing experience, ideally in long‑term care or assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Work day, evening, or night shifts that fit your schedule.
• Give hands‑on nursing care to residents in assisted living and skilled nursing.
• Pass medications and complete treatments that follow each resident's care plan.
• Chart clearly so the next nurse has what they need.
• Give and receive shift report with the full‑time team.
