Who You Are:

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling staff to ensure appropriate staffing coverage in the Skilled Nursing and Rehab (SNR) facility, ensuring that the company’s staffing requirements are always met. Performs all assignments with honesty, integrity, and care that promote the mission, vision, and values of Friendship Village

Requirements:

  • Experience in a long-term care setting is required.
  • Must possess excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Requires good judgment to plan, perform, and set up sequences within standard procedures. Requires analysis of facts and information to act following established guidelines.
  • Demonstrates the highest level of customer/client service and response.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality when working with confidential or sensitive materials or conversations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment that promotes inclusiveness and communication among team members.
  • Can professionally receive and follow oral instructions in English. Able to understand and use simple math.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to sit for up to ninety percent (90%) of the workday.
  • Occasionally required to carry or lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to carry or lift items weighing up to 25 pounds for short distances. Required to obtain the assistance of another qualified employee when attempting to lift objects over 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to stand or walk.
  • Occasionally performs activities that require stooping, bending, reaching, squatting, balancing, and trunk twisting throughout the day.
  • Constantly able to communicate verbally and in written form.
  • Frequently able to detect and discern both loud and soft sounds.
  • Constantly using hands and fingers to type, write, and file.
  • Frequently able to use near vision for viewing computer monitors and written materials.
  • Occasionally required to detect unusual odors that could indicate environmental issues.
