Job description

We need aStaffing Coordinator to join our team at Highlandspring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitationin Fort Thomas, KY. You’ll assist the nursing department with scheduling and staffing for the nursing care units.

STNA: $17 to $22 Per Hour
LPN: $27.50 to $31 Per Hour
RN: $33 to $38 Per Hour

You’ll communicate with the DON regarding staffing, census, employee attendance and behavior issues. You’ll work closely with the Retention Hiring Coordinator to always be recruiting for upcoming needs as an integral part of staffing.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Managing the nursing schedule & daily flow sheets to promote proper balance
  • Creating a biweekly schedule with nursing leadership guidance
  • Maintaining a Holiday, On-call & MDS schedule
  • Receiving calls-offs during working hours & directing them to nursing leadership
  • Receiving personal request forms for vacations, leaves of absence, & change of status
  • Assisting new personnel with computer orientation as directed by the DON
  • Attending staff meetings monthly & professional nursing & departmental staff meeting on a PRN basis.
  • Assisting with the onboarding & hiring
  • Monitoring & documenting the completion of required 12-hour continuing education

You’ll Need To Have:

  • STNA, LPN, or RN Licensure in the state where facility is located (KY)
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in the area of confrontation management
  • Strong organizational skills to fairly & consistently maintaining company policy
