Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this position is to supervise, provide, and coordinate nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures. The role involves assessing residents' care needs and taking appropriate actions. The candidate must be committed to person-centered care, supporting individual resident choices and routines in all aspects of daily living.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current nursing license in the State, in good standing
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Effective documentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of applicable Federal, State, and local regulations and facility policies
  • Ability to direct, delegate, and follow up on resident care programs
  • Meet all health requirements mandated by law
  • Proficiency in using all nursing service equipment
  • Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment

Preferred: Supervisory experience
