Job summary

Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK is seeking a Staffing Coordinator CMA/CNA to join our long-term and rehabilitative care team.

You will serve as the primary staffing liaison, schedule and coordinate staffing, and support the CNA/CMA and nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage.

Qualifications

• Current, valid licensure as a CNA or CMA is required.
• Experience in a nursing home or home health setting with geriatric patients.
• Scheduling experience required; UKG experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Staffing for all nursing personnel (RN, LVN, CMA, CNAs).
• Process applications for all positions.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates.
• Complete new hire reference checks, license/certification verifications.
• Review staffing routinely and adjust based on census.
• Conduct clinical portion of the new hire orientation.
• Conduct drug testing of all new hires.
• Maintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absences.
• Set up, track and log attendance for all State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DON.
• Annual Proficiency Testing for Certified Nurse Aides.
• May Participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Maintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licenses.
• Track, audit and administer TB tests, Flu Shots, etc. for Residents and Employees
