MercyOne Central Iowa seeks a Staffing Coordinator to organize and optimize staffing for the Centralized Staffing (CS) Department across Mercy Medical Center - Des Moines and Mercy Medical Center - West Lakes. You will forecast staffing needs, manage schedules, and ensure data integrity to support patient care.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Forecast staffing needs using data from work units to plan staffing.

• Maintain CS Department data and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Allocate internal and external resource staff to requesting departments.
• Coordinate with unit leadership to ensure correct schedules and updates.
