QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Graduate with Computer Skills and ability to communicate both verbally and written formats.
At Least One Year Staffing Longterm Care Experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
Prepares the schedule of the nurses and nurses aides on a monthly basis and assist with staffing changes.
PART 1: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS
PERFORMANCE
- 1. Weekly transposes hours from time cards to employee’s work records.
- 2. Weekly monitors lateness, sick days, absenteeism, LOA and MD notes.
- 3. Extrapolates, analyzes and corrects any payroll problems, discrepancies and/ or questions.
- 4. Monitors all time for weekly State Nursing hours.
- 5. Yearly- Monitors previous years’ sick days- and transposes on new work record.
- 6. Coordinate staffing needs with outside staffing agencies, as needed.
- 7. Monitor and reconcile staffing agencies’ hours
- 8. Maintain records/profiles of outside agencies staff
- 9. Assists with staffing changes.
- 10. Weekly staffing Sheet
- 11. Maintain & controls overtime on a consistent basis
- 12. Post monthly staffing schedule timely.
- 13. Ability to prepare written reports when requested.
- 14. Answers telephone and take messages
- 15. Daily Filing
