University Behavioral Center in Orlando, FL is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage Nursing Department schedules, shift assignments, and attendance tracking. The role requires active, clear Florida licensure and prior behavioral health staffing experience.

The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds. We are currently seeking qualified professionals with active/clear license in the state of Florida. Previous experience in a psychiatric facility or rehabilitation program is required.
The Staffing Coordinator performs the scheduling and staffing function for our Nursing Department. Creates a monthly schedule and daily assignments sheets for Nursing staff; including Nurses, RN/Shift Supervisors, Lead Mental Health Technicians and Mental Health Technicians. Processes employee requests for time off. The Staffing Coordinator manages the shift master scheduling software system, adjusting appropriately the staffing levels based on census fluctuations, call-ins and pre-planned leaves of absences to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. Maintains employee attendance calendars to monitor absences and tardiness for any attendance issues. Performs administrative duties to support the Chief Nursing Officer. This position may require being on call for scheduling emergencies.
