System One, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineering Technician-Water for a full-time contract position in Orlando, FL.

The role supports Water & Industrial Water projects within the Government & Communities Market Sector, contributing to site development and critical infrastructure. You will use Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation to create and modify site development plans, perform design calculations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering deliverables for

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in civil or engineering technician roles.
Experience with Civil 3D grading required.
Associate Degree or higher in a related field preferred; diploma or certificate required.
Ability to support development of high-quality engineering deliverables and maintain documentation.
Proficiency with CAD/BIM and 3D modeling tools.

Responsabilités

Develop and modify technical deliverables for water and industrial water infra projects.
Create and modify site development plans using Civil 3D or MicroStation.
Perform design tasks under general supervision with engineering principles in mind.
Assist in site development activities including grading, drainage, and utilities.
Coordinate with design teams to exchange project information.
Review inputs to ensure consistency with codes and standards.
Apply judgment in design deliverables and input interpretation.
Conduct design calculations and develop material quantities/estimates.
Share knowledge of latest technologies to improve project quality.
