Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Water Engineer to join the Water team in East Windsor, NJ. You will deliver design work for water and wastewater projects across North America, applying your engineering expertise and judgment under guidance from senior team members.

You will evaluate and design treatment facilities, pipelines, and pumping systems, conduct field visits and prepare technical reports, and help manage project tasks to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with knowledge of relevant national standards and codes of practice.
• Advanced research, data gathering, technical writing and analysis skills.
• Developing skills including technical, project management, relationship management, sector expertise and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, design and support management of water/wastewater projects.
• Prepare technical reports with guidance from senior engineers.
• Occasional field visits, construction observation, RFIs and permit closeouts.
• Manage tasks as a project resource to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure design integrity.
