Minimum qualifications

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $178,000-$265,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Explore new visual language and overarching story for the material design system and design specific components and subsystems.
• Define systems for brand expression in product, and establish and document visual systems for color, typography, shape, layout, etc.
• Draw example screens showing elements of the design system in action.
• Collaborate with design teams across Google to help them implement material design in their products.
• Collaborate effectively with interaction and motion designers, engineering, research, product, and writing within Google Design Platform to ship a functioning system.
