We opened our flagship location in Manhattan's West Village in 2020 and have quickly expanded across the East Coast. Small Door now operates in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, and Maryland with continued expansion plans in 2025.

What you’ll do
  1. Deliver superior client experience and best-in-class medicine via Small Door's framework and medical protocols
  2. Diagnose and treat pets with illnesses and injuries
  3. Maintain detailed digital records and communicate diligently with clients
  4. Perform general practice surgeries and dentistry
  5. Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients on well pet care
Who you are
  1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent with an active license in New York, with 1+ years of experience (rotating internship a plus)
  2. Professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication, and a positive attitude
  3. Committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the code of ethics
  4. Thrives in a team-oriented environment

Compensation

New York Medical Pay Range: $135,000 - $150,000 USD
