About the job

At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." UX Programs & Operations drives projects by increasing communication, streamlining the UX design process, and fostering a culture of user-centered development. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to create industry-leading products based on user insights.
As a UX Program Manager, you will combine expert project management with a passion for user experience to improve the design of products used by billions. Your role is to plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure deadlines are met. You will harmonize the work of various UX disciplines and cross-functional partners to drive team objectives and create innovative experiences.

Cloud AI UX designs how enterprises build, govern, and trust AI agents. Define windows for enterprise AI, and the experiences we ship now will shape how businesses work for years. We win by putting real products in front of customers, not by writing about them, we prototype early, stay close to the customer's daily reality, and hold an uncompromising bar for craft and quality. Design and research operate as one team, and we sit as equal partners to product and engineering, owning the experience rather than waiting for direction.

In this role, you will run the programs that let our design team ship coherent, high-quality work on Agent Platform and beyond, the surfaces where enterprise customers build, configure, and govern AI agents. You bring strong portfolio management, a real feel for UX quality, and the collaboration instincts to keep design, product, and engineering moving in the same direction.

Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • Own the UX program for Agent Platform end to end. Turn Cloud AI's priorities into a concrete plan with owners, milestones, and a cadence the team can actually run on. Keep the plan current as the roadmap shifts.
  • Run the working relationship between UX, product, and engineering for the area. Scope and sequence work with UX leads, negotiate trade-offs, and guide cross-functional teams to delivery without direct line management.
  • Drive decisions to closure: gather requirements, tee up the right discussion with the right people at the right time, and unblock progress. Represent UX in review forums and resolve alignment deadlocks.
  • Track work through to real, shipped outcomes across a matrixed organization, and document what actually landed.
  • Set the communication cadence that keeps design, product, and engineering stakeholders current on status, risks, and needs.
