Job summary

Teradata seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact programs across its product portfolio. You will drive execution from strategy through launch, aligning engineering and product leaders around clear outcomes and delivering programs that span teams and geographies.

You will work with PMs, engineering leadership, and cross-functional partners to translate technical complexity into actionable plans, manage risk, and ensure timely, launch-ready delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program management or related experience in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or analytics products.
• Proven track record leading large, multi-team programs from strategy through launch in a matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SaaS/data-platform lifecycles.
• Ability to engage deeply with engineers and architects, understand system dependencies, and influence without owning technical design.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions across boundaries amidst ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including concise executive updates and risk framing.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
• Practical understanding of how AI can improve program outcomes and team productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery for complex technical programs spanning multiple engineering teams and product areas.
• Build clear program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, milestones, and executive-level health metrics.
• Drive cross-functional decisions and keep teams aligned through structured operating rhythms.
• Translate technical complexity into concise updates and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Identify and mitigate risks early and remove execution barriers to improve delivery.
• Coordinate end-to-end launch readiness across engineering, quality, documentation, support, security, and GTM teams.
• Use data to guide prioritization and decisions across the program.
• Apply AI tools and practices to improve program insight and execution efficiency.
