Job summary

Cribl is seeking a staff-level investigator to join our security team, operating at the intersection of insider threat, digital/hardware forensics, and executive protection. This hybrid role supports investigations, forensics work, and protection for executives and travels as needed.

You will lead complex insider risk cases end-to-end, perform hardware-level forensics, and coordinate with HR, Legal, and executive teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across insider threat investigations, digital/hardware forensics, and physical/executive protection.
• Demonstrated lead investigator on insider risk cases involving high-stakes or legally exposed matters.
• Hands-on forensic skills with standard tooling and hardware-level techniques.
• Active or recent CFCE certification through IACIS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead insider risk investigations from detection to closure, including scoping and remediation recommendations.
• Conduct forensic acquisition and analysis of devices and network artifacts.
• Provide executive protection coverage for principals during travel and events.
