Job summary

TANDEM PSYCHOLOGY is seeking a full-time psychotherapist to join a growing team in a hybrid telehealth and in-person setting in the Chicago area. The clinician will manage outpatient individual and couples therapy, conduct intake assessments, and contribute to group therapy and training as available.

Licensed professionals with LGBTQ-affirming practice are encouraged to apply. Independent clinicians can earn upwards of $150,000, with a schedule that includes evenings or weekends for about one

Qualifications

• Licensed professional with LGBTQ experience and strong clinical skills.
• Competence in EMDR, IFS, or other evidence-based therapies.
• Ability to work independently and with a clinical team.

TANDEM PSYCHOLOGY seeks a full-time psychotherapist to join an ever-growing team!Our practice prides itself in maintaining a high client success rate and a strong commitment to diversity, especially the unique needs of queer and LGBT clients.

We’re proud to have a steady stream of referrals and fill new therapist’s caseloads very quickly.We also pride ourselves on helping new clinicians develop a greater sense of their clinical and professional identities.Hybrid telehealth and in-person schedules are available with 33%the successful candidate’s schedule to be on evenings or weekends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide outpatient individual and/or couples psychotherapy as well as intake assessments
• Conscientious and timely clinical documentation
• Have availability to schedule 33% of clinical time on evenings or weekends
• Opportunities to engage in delivery of group therapy, clinical training for other clinicians, and psychological testing are available

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed professional with one of the following licenses: LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, AMFT, LMFT, Psy.D, PHD (post-doctoral psychologists are welcome to apply)
• Experience working with queer and LGBTQ individuals and relationships
• Competence in EMDR, IFS, or other evidence-based therapies
• Strong generalist skills and experience as a clinician
• Ability to work independently and with a team

COMPENSATION:

Competitive pay and benefits including medical insurance, retirement account, and paid leave.Supervision provided, if needed.Independently licensed therapists can earn upwards of $150,000.

JOB HOURS & LOCATION:

The successful candidate will work part or full-time and will have the opportunity to set their own schedule.Expected to schedule 33% of clinical time on evenings or weekends.Start date is negotiable depending on the circumstances and needs of practice and candidates.Positions are open in our Lakeview and Andersonville locations.
