Job summary
Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Staff Technician in Test Engineering to support development, troubleshooting, and validation of test equipment and hardware. You will contribute to delivering reliable aerospace solutions by assembling test stations, loading software, and supporting engineering teams.
You will read engineering drawings, modify test assemblies, and perform ATPs with proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience with test equipment and testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience modifying test hardware (cable harnesses, CCAs, test fixtures).
- Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Assemble test stations and rack-mounted hardware per drawings.
- Perform software load procedures on test station computers and install required software/drivers.
- Modify test assemblies to support engineering debugging.
- Provide troubleshooting support to engineering teams.
- Conduct ATPs for test equipment and ensure proper documentation.
