Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking a Staff Test Engineer to apply advanced test discipline expertise and lead development of company objectives. The role will tackle significant issues, requiring independent judgement and thought leadership across groups.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with product engineering and operations, and support production yield and quality activities while driving test program excellence.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years with Automated Test Systems (ATE).
• Hands-on experience in ATE test development for analog, digital and mixed-signal.
• Proficient in C++, Python and Perl for test software.
• Experience testing ICs/circuits with standard lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop best-in-class test programs supporting NPI, quality, and capability initiatives.
• Qualification, characterization, and correlation of developed products.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide the team to independent success.
• Define processes and specifications to drive test execution and quality.
• Coordinate with product engineering and operations for ramp and release.
• Support production yield and customer return activities for quality.
