This Edwards AFB-based Bomber Effectiveness Analyst/Test Engineer, Staff role requires a SECRET clearance and offers challenging opportunities to develop evaluation plans, perform data analysis, and deliver briefings to program leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
3+ years of practical knowledge of military aircraft systems and related fields.
Expertise with computer coding (MATLAB, Python, C) or related training; knowledge of DoE concepts and statistics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Drafts operational effectiveness test plans, reports, and briefings.
Provides technical assistance in effectiveness evaluations: test objectives, plans, execution, results analysis, reporting.
Assists the Test Director in timely preparation of high-quality analyses across test venues and phases.
Contributes to test design and planning using knowledge of the system under test, AFOTEC policies, and test range capabilities.
Attends meetings and conferences as required.
Approximately 10-20% CONUS travel to government and contractor facilities.
