Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Technology Program Manager to take on a pivotal role in the development of first-in-kind battery technology. As part of the PMO (Program Management Office), you will drive and integrate our R&D and development workstreams with our engineering and manufacturing programs. You will partner with multiple functions across R&D, development, and engineering to accelerate the deployment of Form's cutting-edge technology to market. What you'll do:

1. Build and accelerate cohesive strategy and plans related to our R&D and technology readiness, integrating them into the overall product deployment program.
2. Assess and mitigate program risks based on development activities across research and development.
3. Manage and communicate schedules, risks, and priorities across multiple teams to ensure efficient alignment, coordination, and execution of Form's highly cross-functional goals consistent with the Product Development Plan (PDP).
4. Proactively identify and frame key decisions and risks; work with stakeholders to develop decision-quality options; facilitate progress by ensuring appropriate scheduling, resourcing, and prioritization of engineering workflows.
5. Contribute to program management systems and structures based on best practices and personal experience to effectively support Form Energy's technical team.
6. Ensure all product plans and assumptions are aligned with high-level system requirements.

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of experience in Technical or Engineering Program Management.
• Demonstrated experience managing programs for R&D development of complex products combining chemical, electrical hardware, software, and mechanical components.
• Ability to understand the big picture from both technical and scheduling perspectives.
• Strong ability to drive programs forward, remove roadblocks, and escalate major risks or issues.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of communicating at an executive level.
• Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.
