Shield AI is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to design and maintain test systems for reliable V-BAT vehicle hardware, spanning electrical, mechanical, and software elements, with emphasis on robust environmental testing.

You will assemble fixtures and work with engineers to simplify test stand designs, contributing to the production of highly reliable aerospace hardware. This is a hands-on role with impact on mission-critical validation.

Job Description:

Shield AI’s mission is to protect the lives of service members and civilians with intelligent systems. The Hardware Test Engineering team contributes to this effort by designing test solutions that drive high hardware reliability on our V-BAT vehicle. These solutions are in-house designed electrical and mechanical equipment used to perform component and system-level testing, both at ambient and in simulated harsh environmental conditions.

In this role, you will build and maintain a fleet of test systems that included electrical, mechanical, and software elements. You will assemble test fixtures and work with engineers to simplify and improve test stand designs.
