Job summary

Arc is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for Commercial to own programs from award through delivery, starting with a $160M contract to deliver a fleet of electric tugboats.

You will own schedule, scope, and risk for commercial programs from design through production and delivery; contribute delivery and performance inputs to bids; own relationships with shipyards and build partners; and run the operating cadence turning commitments into shipped vessels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering complex, multi-disciplinary hardware programs.
• Experience in marine/shipbuilding, EV/battery, aerospace, defense, or hardware program management.
• Proficiency with deep program planning: schedules, interdependencies, risks and changes.
• Experience translating sales opportunities into executable programs and delivering on commitments.
• Ability to communicate and persuade across engineering, manufacturing, sales, executives, and customers.
• Experience owning a vendor or build-partner relationship.
• ITAR: knowledge of U.S. export control laws and ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own schedule, scope, and risk for commercial powertrain programs from design through production and delivery.
• Translate won deals into structured, executable programs with commercial sales leaders.
• Provide schedule, risk, and execution content to bids for the Proposal Specialist.
• Pressure-test delivery feasibility and coordinate cross-functional build plans to meet commitments.
• Manage relationships with shipyards and build partners; align with Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Run the internal operating cadence including kickoffs, milestone reviews, risk registers, change control, and executive updates.
• Synthesize feedback to inform product roadmap, pricing, and commercial playbooks.
• Build program-management processes and tooling to scale Arc's Commercial business.
• Travel to partner companies to coordinate design and build activities.
