Staff Technical Enablement Specialist - Regulated Industries

Location: This is a fully remote position.

About The Role

We are seeking an enablement professional to support Field Enablement for the Regulated Industries business unit, focusing on the Field Engineering (FE) team within our joint Sales + Technical go-to-market team. The Regulated Industries include Financial Services, Healthcare and Life Sciences, and the Public Sector, along with teams from Canada.

This role will partner with the VP of Regulated Industries Field Engineering, sales, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute Field Engineering enablement programs for the BU. The ideal candidate will have expertise in technical concepts, a deep understanding of consumption-based sales, and a passion for data & AI technologies, field enablement, and adult learning principles. The role reports to the Director of Field Enablement for Regulated Industries.

Additional Qualities We Look For
  • Proficiency in foundational data/AI concepts, including Lakehouse Architecture.
  • Experience supporting technical audiences in creating proofs-of-concept (POC) and technical solutions; prior Pre-Sales experience is a bonus.

  • Partner with leadership, Sales Enablement, and stakeholders to prioritize and scale technical enablement initiatives.
  • Drive global Field Engineering enablement strategies through innovative programs.
  • Align programs with strategic priorities to contribute to the global roadmap.
  • Collaborate to stay updated with Databricks Platform, product, messaging, and processes.
  • Lead enablement sessions, workshops, and launches for technical audiences.
What We Look For

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks offers competitive compensation based on experience, skills, and location, including base salary, bonuses, equity, and benefits. The pay ranges vary by zone:

  • Zone 1: $153,800—$235,900 USD
  • Zone 2: $120,000—$212,300 USD
  • Zone 3: $130,800—$200,500 USD
  • Zone 4: $123,000—$188,700 USD
