Homebound is seeking a Tech Lead Manager (Staff+) to lead a small team building the platform that modernizes homebuilding. You’ll stay hands-on as a technical leader while directly managing a team of 2–4 engineers and setting technical direction for your domain.

You’ll own architecture decisions, ship production-grade code, and partner with product and design to translate real-world processes into reliable software. This is a remote-first role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience as tech lead, team lead, or engineering manager.
• Delivered full-stack features across modern web technologies (TypeScript/Node/React).
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for your domain and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Design, build, and deliver features across the platform end-to-end.
• Stay hands-on and write production-grade code while leading a small team.
• Mentor engineers, drive planning, and ensure on-time delivery with quality.
