Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team at Galatians Bookkeeping. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our clients' financial health and success.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and review financial statements and reports.
• Manage tax compliance process for all relevant clients.
• Develop tax strategies that could potentially reduce liabilities for client.
• File taxes on behalf of client.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with clients to provide insights on their financial performance.
• Must have experience filing taxes with use of CPA license.
• Must have active CPA license and be in good standing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Proven experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles.
• Familiarity with financial software applications is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines
