Job summary

You will automate routines with Bash, Python, and PowerShell, manage AD/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and integrate networks. The role partners with researchers and engineering teams to disambiguate requirements, troubleshoot

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering, administration, or DevOps for enterprise labs.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows in mixed environments.
• Experience with virtualization platforms and containers.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
• Strong knowledge of AD/LDAP, DNS, and network fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support hybrid Linux and Windows compute environments.
• Manage hypervisors and container workloads.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment.
• Administer directory services, DNS, DHCP, and network integrations.
• Implement baselines, backups, and monitoring for uptime.
• Collaborate with researchers to tailor lab compute environments.
