Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering with 11 years’ experience or Master’s degree with 9 years’ experience.
• Experience with actuation systems (motors, gearing, electronics, software).
• Extensive MATLAB and Simscape experience for dynamic, thermal, and power-flow analysis.
• Knowledge of composites/lightweighting preferred; defense programs or government contracts a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead system design and analysis across electrical, mechanical, software, actuation, and composite technologies.
• Define system architecture from customer requirements and applicable standards.
• Manage requirements, including subsystems, tolerances, and traceability.
• Use modeling and simulation to verify performance, reliability, safety, and risk mitigation.
• Create and manage test plans, procedures, fixtures, and tooling globally.
