A leading engineering firm in Portland is looking for a Staff Structural Engineer (EIT) to design and analyze various projects including dams and hydraulic structures. The role offers an opportunity to work with skilled engineers on challenging projects with the US Army Corps of Engineers and similar clients. Qualifications
0-5 years+ of structural design experience, water resource related experience a plus.
Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with structural analysis software.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
Establish project specific design criteria using various structural design codes.
Gather and review historical project information including drawings.
Participate in preparation of Design Documentation Reports.
