Job summary

ICEYE in Valencia is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to lead structural analysis for satellite programs, ensuring integrity, reliability, and manufacturability from launch to on-orbit operations.

You’ll collaborate with hardware, AIT, and quality teams, drive trade studies, reviews, and documentation, and help advance analysis methods within a dynamic, on-site/hybrid context.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience leading and managing structural analysis.
  • Experience designing satellite structures, subsystems, or complex electromechanical systems.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical stress, vibration, and thermal effects on space structures.
  • Strong expertise in finite element analysis, including structural dynamics and failure analysis.
  • Experience with mechanical, hybrid, and bonded joints for load-carrying composite structures.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as ECSS, NASA, or MIL.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with systems, electrical, and manufacturing teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
