Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of automotive engineering experience or related mobility-sector experience.
• Exposure to electric vehicle platforms preferred.
• Solid foundation in statics, dynamics, materials, and thermal engineering principles.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling; 3DEXPERIENCE preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Track record of effective cross-functional partnership.
• Experience designing, prototyping, and validating electromechanical chassis systems preferred.
• Experience bringing chassis systems from concept through design freeze, validation, and full-volume production delivery preferred.
• Deep knowledge of chassis architectures, kinematics, elastokinematics, and vehicle dynamics fundamentals preferred.
• Advanced understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, including castings, forgings, stampings, and extrusions, preferred.
• Knowledge of technical drawing practices and GD&T per ASME standards preferred.
• Proficiency with agile project tracking and technical documentation tools such as Atlassian JIRA and Confluence preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
