Job summary

Arm is forming a new group to develop outstanding silicon demonstrators based on Arm’s IP compute subsystems using cutting-edge nodes like 3nm. You will focus on timing closure for complex multi-instantiated SoCs, coordinating with cross-functional teams and EDA vendors to deliver robust silicon blocks.

The role requires 6+ years in timing convergence, strong automation skills in Python/Tcl, and experience with 5nm/3nm processes. Hybrid work options available and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in timing convergence.
• Experience with industry standard STA tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of timing corners/modes including DFT, process variations and signal integrity issues.
• Experience with timing closure for multi power domain designs.
• Experience collaborating across silicon engineering groups and with EDA vendors.
• Must have worked on constraints development and timing closure on 5nm or 3nm technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own full chip and block level timing closure throughout the project cycle for complex multi-instantiated designs.
• Handle timing constraints for functional and test mode at different hierarchical levels.
• Work with multi-functional teams to resolve timing issues for major building blocks of SoCs.
• Generate ECOs at block and top level and coordinate timing/functional ECO implementation.
• Familiar with IO interfaces and SOC bus protocols.

Arm has formed a new group to develop outstanding silicon demonstrators based on Arm’s IP compute sub-system solutions and addressing markets such as premium mobile, infrastructure and automotive. Using innovative nodes such as 3nm and advanced SoC 2.5D and 3D technology, Arm strives to demonstrate powerful industry performance by crafting, developing, realizing, and producing modern silicon chips.

Responsibilites

• Owning full chip and block level timing closure throughout the entire project cycle for complex multi-instantiated compose!
• Handling timing constraints for functional and test mode at different logical hierarchical levels
• Work closely with various multi-functional teams on resolving sophisticated timing issues for major building blocks of sophisticated SoCs
• ECO generation at both block and top level, handshaking with team for timing/functional ECO implementation
• Familiarity with IO interfaces and SOC bus protocols

Required Skills and Experience :

• Work experience of 6+ years in Timing convergence
• Experience in industry standard STA tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of timing corners/modes including DFT, process variations and signal integrity issues
• Work experience on timing closure for multi power domain designs
• Experience in collaborating across silicon engineering groups in your organization as well as with EDA vendors
• Must have worked on constraints development and timing closure on 5nm or 3nm technologies
• Strong Automation(Pert/Tcl/Python) and conversational abilities

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

• Masters or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
• Coding skills in Perl/Python or TCL or an equivalent language
• Familiarity with synthesis, logic equivalence, DFT, CLP and backend related methodology and tools
• Strong presentation skills

Salary Range: $198,100-$268,000 per year
