Purpose:

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Full-Time Staff/Sr. Medical Dosimetrist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, located at UPMC Washington in Washington, PA. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site duties with work-from-home capabilities, and follows a regular Monday through Friday schedule.

This position is part of a small team, joining one other dosimetrist dedicated to this department, within a larger network of over 30 dosimetrists. Collaboration and remote support are facilitated by our integrated IT infrastructure and standardized policies across UPMC.

Role Responsibilities:

• Generate clinically optimal treatment plans for radiation therapy patients in collaboration with the clinical team.
• Participate in CT simulation, radiation treatment planning, quality management, and communicate during treatment planning and implementation.
• Work with techniques including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and motion management methods.

Compensation:

• Salary ranges from $48.08/hr to $69.76/hr, based on experience and education.
• Senior level requires three years of post-graduate clinical experience and MDCB certification.
