Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Solution Architect with knowledge of storage and networking solutions to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, robust, scalable, and cost-effective storage solutions that meet the expectations and requirements from our global customers to increase business opportunity. You will be a technical leader, working closely with various global partners, providing guidance and mentorship to other engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business strategy. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation. This role will be based on our headquarters located in the San Jose, CA.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

* Lead the development of comprehensive storage and networking solutions tailored to the unique requirements of enterprise customers, driving significant business wins

* Act as a trusted advisor to sales, FAE, product, and engineering teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure seamless solution deployment and optimal performance

* Collaborate with product managers to define and shape the next generation of Supermicro storage server systems, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs

* Championing customer satisfaction by proactively addressing technical challenges, driving issue resolution, and ensuring seamless pre-sales and post-sales support

* Develop compelling technical white papers, presentations, and marketing materials to showcase Supermicro's storage solutions and establish thought leadership within the industry

* Partner with sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends, identify competitive opportunities, and ensure Supermicro's solutions maintain a leading edge


Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent experiences); MBA is highly preferable

* Minimum of 12 years of experience in business development, promoting storage solutions, or server/computer hardware products solutions preferred

* Proven track record of success working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEMs, with broad experience across product management, product marketing, sales, and business development

* Experience and good working knowledge in storage and networking technologies, including but not limited to NVMe, flash storage, distributed storage, and high-speed networking

* Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

* Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

* Proven ability to lead complex projects, solve challenging problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment

* Strong business ethics conduct


Salary Range

$136,000 - $158,000


The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
