Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Northridge, CA is seeking a Staff Software Systems Engineer (Level 5) to join our defense systems team on site. A Secret clearance is required to start and relocation assistance may be available.

You will translate system requirements into software specifications, work with software and systems engineers, and support verification and integration across CSCIs. The role demands embedded software experience, familiarity with Cameo, and a strong systems engineering background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline with strong systems engineering background.
• Experience with embedded software and ability to read code to verify implementations.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, allocation, and verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate system/subsystem software requirements into software-level requirements for each CSCIs.
• Collaborate with System and Software engineers to develop software architecture models.
• Support verification and validation of software products and system integration tests.
• Develop software/test artifacts using Cameo Enterprise Architecture for use cases and diagrams.
